The listing, Crystal found camping in Idaho quartz? has ended.

We found this in the creek near our campsite in North Idaho this past summer along with some smaller clusters. It was at a remote spot way up north. I believe it to be quartz crystal from what I have researched online. Sorry I don't have anymore info, but I can tell you this is pretty amazing.

Very nice rock! My brother found a nice huge garnet in Idaho many years ago..Goes to show you never know what mother nature treasures you can find...Watching & will be bidding :)

Thank you! I'm pretty sure we will be going to the same spot to do some exploring again this year if the fires we had this past summer didn't go through the area. They were close.

Were you by the Panhandle???? There are some amazing bodies of water right there, ooh man kick in Geography.... definitely the Priest River (pulled some major HUGE Cutthroat outta there) oh and Dworshak Reservoir... I too, Susan found a few Garnet there , and it's also one place to find Zeolite! Thanks Rachel, now I wanna go play!!!! First I have to beat up Susan.... lol!!! Oh and Lisa snuck in too!!! Love ya girlies!!!

We were way up north of priest river area. We get great huckleberries there too! This is so exciting to meet people who love exploring for treasures as much as I do. You guys are WONDERFUL!

Definitely Quartz. Zeolite is usually more opaque isn't it? Kind of chalky and pocked...

A few of these wonderful people whom I have never met, but feel as I have known them forever! None of us do the "clicky" thing, we just cheer each other on! ( or fight till the death) KIDDING! Oh how I love Huckleberries, and I am a little suspicious that your stone could possibly be a zeolite... I have not seen one in a while, but wish I could hold it and put it under the scope!
