Description

The listing, Succulent Clippings Slipper Plant has ended.

Slipper Plant. Also called: Lady Slipper, Slipper Flower, Lady's Slipper, and Gallito.
My Slipper Plant needs a good trim up. This auction is for a minimum of 6 (4" approximately) clippings of Slipper Plant- including directions for propagation. Slipper Plant is hardy outside in zones 8-10. However, my friend in VA brings it indoors fall and winter by a sunny window and it does just fine (though with less water).

An evergreen succulent about 6 feet tall with a 6 foot spread. It has mostly leafless, light green stems, up to about ½ inch in diameter, that usually stand straight up, or sometimes are arched. Mine have always been quite arched, between trimmings.

Hummingbirds are attracted to it's flowers. Easy to grow by stem cutting.

Some people are sensitive to Euphorbia sap, use gloves when handling. Very sticky.

Height: About 6 feet tall with a 6 foot spread.
Flowers: Pink to red terminal blooms. Resembling a Lady's Slipper. About 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches long.
They have very Small leaves best seen in photo 4, very small and delicate looking, and mostly appear right before they begin to bloom.
Grows great in a container, sensitive to frost (I cover when threat of frost or freeze). Currently not blooming, usually a late bloomer in October and early March through May.
Freshly cut and mailed first thing in the morning.

Photo 5- Grows best in dappled shade with extreme heat. More sun in zones not currently as hot as AZ.
