Questions & Comments
2,000,000 credits are worth $248.45.. Curious why someone would BUY the guitar with money then turn around and auction it free for credits when you could simply sell the guitar for cash and buy 2,000,000 credits yourself? Guitar is awesome and would love it but I know it will most likely hit the 100,000+ mark, which I can't afford.. But still I am just curious why you would auction it off......
First, correction, credits are going for 8,100 which for 2,000,000 is $246.92. Second, for three simple reasons: because I like to, I can & I make it possible for others to win something with credits that they can't afford to pay cash for. As you will also notice, I didn't list it as a fixed price auction...people can choose if they want to bid and also how much they are willing to bid. I hope I satisfied your curiosity, thanks for commenting I appreciate it and have a nice day!! :)
I was on the official AMC Walking Dead website and saw the ones they were giving away in a contest and started searching around. Some of them are expensive selling $600.00-$1200.00. I kept searching and found this one for $250.00 from Jackson's Music Store so I snatched it up fast!
If I'm lucky I should have the credits by Saturday. Basically if I sell a gift card, and a couple of my pending auctions come through.
I was reading the comments. I list a lot of items from iPhones, gift cards, to smart watches. I do it because I love buying and selling and because there are people like you who list guitars like this... As a lover of music I love having different guitars, each with a unique sound. I never would be able to pay $250+ for a guitar as I'm on disability! That's why this site is great. I don't have a lot of money so I make deals and sell on here and find things I love. Or I find things like your cars and trucks which my one nephew LOVED btw (still waiting to hear on the other ones lol) - I can't afford to go out and buy them things and listia helps me make family happy! Which in turn makes me happy! (:
Hey, that would be great...I understand, sometimes it takes longer than expected to receive credits from your auctions.
Sounds a lot like me as well. I enjoy being able to make items like this available for those who cannot afford to just go out and spend the cash to purchase them. I reinvest the credits I win from these auctions one of two ways...either use them to purchase gift cards or sell the credits and then buy other items to list. I also donate the credits from time to time to different charities, especially St. Jude's. Like you said I also enjoy giving things away to family members and those who are struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford to buy things for themselves and their children. I just enjoy doing it and it makes me happy that I am able to!! My hat is off to you and I commend you for doing what you can to make a difference in the lives of others even though you deal with health issues!! Thanks for your comments I appreciate it very much!!
Thanks a lot...it is a very nice looking guitar! I didn't know which one would everybody would like the most. You have a choice between several different ones: rick, carl, michonne, walking dead, etc. I haven't seen any with daryl. Thanks for looking & commenting, I fanned you too!
Oh I check your postings on a daily basis lol. And if I can get the credits I'll hit that gin so fast. If this was last week I would have had enough :(
Thanks I appreciate it very much! The credits are usually much harder to accumulate than they are to keep. I just keep reinvesting mine to purchase more items to list. Thanks again!
You keep proving over and over why you're in my top three favorites here. Not only do you list the most awesome stuff (my car collection is now way cooler than my husbands. Lol) you do it for awesome reasons. Thank you. Watching this one for fun. If you come across a Darryl though, I can't even imagine how that auction would go. Probably set a record.
Thank you so much for those kind words I really appreciate them very much!! I'm just so glad that I am able to do what I enjoy doing and will continue as long as I am able to! Yes, you are definitely right...Daryl is very popular...I will continue to search for one! Thanks again I really appreciate it very much!! :)
If all the designs are based on the comic, it could explain the lack of Daryl, as he's only on the show and doesn't exist (yet) in the comic universe. I can't play but this would have been something I'd be proud to just have and display because I'm just that kind of nerd. My husband plays but I'd never let him touch it. Good luck on this awesome auction!
I was thinking the same thing since I follow the comic book storyline. You would think just based on His popularity alone that they would produce some. I can just picture it in my mind as to how it would look with him on the motorcycle armed with his crossbow. If they would let me I could definitely lay out a rough draft picture of it myself. With these kind of collectors guitars you use it to play or either put it in a shadow box for display on the wall. It would definitely be great if you could get it signed by him...I know wishful thinking! Anyway, I appreciate you looking & commenting very much!! :)
