Who wouldn't like a new pen pal? I had one in middle school and I absolutely loved it! She had a huge impact on my life and I would love to be able to do that for someone!

It is someone you write to and have a conversation with. Letters barley go around anymore and I want to pay it forward using letters! I want to be able to help someone! Like say they're dealing with depression I want to help them through their depression! I want to have an impact on someone's life's and help them do better!!

I think this is absolutely admirable, and incredibly brilliant. Pen pals can save lives, and also get you through some rough times. Not everyone has an ear to whisper into, or someone to call friend. It's not always by choice either. I think this is a win, win for everyone involved. :)

This is a nice thing you are doing! When I was young, my friends and I would buy "Teen" magazine and it used to have 2 or 3 pages of pen pal list. I would have so many pen pals and wrote to them for years. Now you can't put the addresses in the magazine anymore with all the sex offenders and other police related things. That's so sad. I just wanted to let you know that your pen pal auction is awesome:)

I love the idea of getting to know a person. In a digital world it's really hard to communicate with a person. Now, you can just send them short texts or IM's which are limited to a 140 character box. Where is the depth in that? You aren't learning about a person, you're engaging in a machine. Ink and paper feels a bit more personal. I have had many pen pals, most military, and it's pleasant being able to receive letters back from them with expressions of gratitude and contentment. Some don't get nearly enough of that type of attention. They're half a world away keeping us safe, the least one could do would be to send a letter. I am most definitely stealing this idea. I've talked myself into it XD

Everyone deserves a friend and that's what I want to be to someone is a friend! I don't want anyone things I want anything more than a friend due to the fact I am taken and I have 2 kids! But I want to help someone out like my pen pal did! I want to help someone through something that they may feel is hard!! I love to help people!
