Schoppelwolle Zauberball is a famous German wool blend with long color repeats that fade into each other. I decided I don't like this colorway, after all, and frogged the shawl I was knitting. Pic 4 shows what it looked like knitted up.
This auction is for 918 yards, the equivalent of 2 full balls.
Definitely enough to make a good size shawl, or at least two pairs of adult size socks!
3/4 of a ball are untouched, the rest of it and the second ball have been unravelled, washed and dried.So the yarn is clean, the kinks are out, and it's as good as new. Only softer, because washing made the yarn bloom! ;-)
