I just have to say that this doll is gorgeous! This large boudoir/bed doll is wearing an incredible dress with an enormous skirt. The dress is festooned with flowing ribbons and sequins on the bodice. The doll is wearing a lovely matching bonnet. Under her dress she has a slip and also a crinoline (I think) skirt to add flounciness. She is also wearing a nice pair of striped trousers. Her head and hands a made of composition, her body and legs are cloth, and her arms and lower legs and shoes are hard plastic, possibly celluloid. She was made during the Art Deco era, probably in the mid to late 1920s. She was made to decorate a lady's bed or dressing area, and the nicer the dress, the better.

This doll is in excellent condition, and she looks fabulous for being 95 years old. Her dress, however, has not held up so well. There are several tears and the lace hem is torn, and in some areas it is torn off. The sequins on the bodice look a like spaghetti. Because the skirt is so full, the fabric can be positioned so that the tears can't be seen. If you are handy with a needle and thread you should be able to fix the tears pretty easily. I have provided many photos of the damaged areas for you to be able to evaluate the condition.

This is one amazing doll!
