For me this is not all about the money either. Most are cost of coin and a basic ring rate fee depending on amount of work to make a coin into a ring. I have made so many special ones and have cried over the stories and meanings behind them. That is the greatest payment received and it has been an awesome journey!

If I were changing the denomination and pass off as a different value currency that would be and is what the law is about. You can google the defacing currency and you can get the fully explained answer. Coins have been used as jewelry for centuries. Pennies smashed for years etc. great question and I get it a lot as you can imagine! I try to do the minters proud in bringing the art back to life and in a way that can pass through generations to be appreciated! Thank you!

I post the pictures to my ring page of the finished rings because I can post photos there I cannot in any Listia messages that I have found. I do this so you can see your finished rings. I don't have to but I do and will continue. The BOGO posts are buy one get one m. That in layman terms is two ring deal! Some single ring posts I will put s note or include in the description of the bidding goes over a certain bid amount I will throw in an extra ring. Just a little extra bonus opportunity and kind gesture on my part. Sometimes the ring will be a totally different extra ring. Ex. State qtr ring post listed, at 225,000 I will throw in an extra Presidential dollar ring. So if bidding got to the 225,000 bingo for you 2 rings! I make the rings and state in the posts the size ranges ex. State qtrs size 4-14 also mid sizes. That means if you win you can have a 4 1/4 or a 6 1/8 or a 12 whatever between size 4 & size 14. The BOGO deals are two rings as discussed if state qtrs then 2 state qtrs what ever size in the size range specified 4-14 in this case. Hope that helped you
