It was put into a Very Special Package Directly from the Mint in commemoration of the Legacy of the United States Army Infantry and to Celebrate the Establishment of the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center.
Not only is it in the special mint packaging, it also comes with a special "Dog Tag" and the Certificate of Authenticity.
If you were not one of the 350,000 to order this directly from the mint in 2012, you were out of luck in getting one for yourself.

Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packages to their destination in a timely manner, but not all of them. Some are still taking up to a week (or more) for no special or evident reason.
Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
