It's the little rubber piece that fits between the G, H, and B keys. Amazon sells them ($6): http://www.amazon.com/Stick-Pointer-Mouse-Track-Point/dp/B01FQNE9ZW

No, there is no optical drive. You would need an external drive.

Everything else works as intended and it has virtually no effect by not being there.

I wonder if I can take the DVD r/w out of my old dell laptop & put in this? If it can would be good I'm gonna find out? Does it appear to have a space to install one?

Sorry for all the ? I have a bit of OCD, optical drives are darned near obsolete anyway, if I didn't have a giant stack of DVD/rw discs I'd never even bother, is all jump drives & SD cards now. Which I'd it had a built in card readers that would def influence my decision. One question though . . What is that image showing on the side? A floppy disk drive?

Don't feel bad about asking questions - it's important to know details about the item you may buy and it helps others in that it answers their potential questions. Anyway, I think the port you're seeing on the eleventh image is actually the integrated smart card reader. If you have a smart card (like a U.S. Government-issued ID) you can attach it to your user account and use it as a physical security credential that must be produced in order to login. Also, be sure to read the message I've sent you!

436,579. If you would take that I would have no choice but to take it. USPS is screwing me & they are 3 sent 1st class! 2 for 100,000 each got scanned when picked up sposta be delivered but appear as if never made it out of USPS truck stolen by mailman! Second for 300k appx made it 50 miles scanned never heard from again nearly a week now I called postmaster! I need to check into hospital, need blood transfusion but this is one of a couple things Holden me up! If u wanna wait and see until I get my credits, but if it goes bad everything may become superfluous at that point!
