Description

The listing, ANTIQUE coin silver American Waltham pocket watch RUNS has ended.

Up for gin is an awesome ANTIQUE coin silver American Waltham pocket watch. It runs fine but there is no glass on the face. Pictures all marks and shown. Has been tested and is coin silver or higher. I used a dollar bill for reference of size and it weighs 159 grams. Very heavy pocket watch. I do not k ow the exact date but all info is shown in pics and I'm sure you smart collectors will know.

This is not 10k, 14k or 18k. It is coin or sterling silver. And is MARKED COIN it does pass acid test for sterling

Hey Dan!!! Great auction!!! I have all of the information you're needing for this watch! Am I correct that the first number shown on the movement is a 6?

Fahys is the watch case maker. The case and the watch(movement) itself are made from different manufactures. If my research is correct your watch is number 83 of only 1000 of these watches made. It was made in 1883 and its size is 18 which is one of the larger pocket watches. It holds 11 jewels and is quite collectible! I couldn't appraise it without more information however the GIN you're asking, with the condition you claim is probably worth reexamining. I believe it to be worth quite a bit more than your gin conversion to dollars. Good luck!!!!!
