Very strong adjustable leather unisex bracelet made by Egyptian artisans in Nepal and Tibet in small quantities by hand. These beautiful artists were exiled from Egypt and North Sudan because they are not Muslim and do not follow Islam, but instead have chosen Buddhism and to follow their hearts in older Greek/Egyptian religions that involve prayer, peaceful meditations and teachings, and being examples of humility and peace to their children and others. Fortunately they found a place to sell their beautiful handmade jewelry in a community that accepts them and has importers from America and other countries who understand their plight, and can assist them in making a small living in peace.

These bracelets are made of leather, sturdy cord, and Pewter. They fit any wrist. I have them in three colors, black, brown and burgundy. Please choose a color at time of bidding. they are stiff when you first receive them and have never been treated with chemicals. I recommend soaking your new bracelet in two tablespoons lemon juice and three tablespoons fabric softener for an hour. Rinse and wear as you would any other jewelry. This will darken the leather a bit and as it dries will provide a deeper color, but will be softer and have a start on that "broken in" feeling. This is your choice though, you can certainly let nature take its course. :-)

I ship usually 1-2 days after auctions end, but occasionally will ship later as Listia does allow me seven days. I ship free to the USA and I always pay for tracking.
