The listing, Gorgeous Rock Specimen with miniature Pewter sea tortoise has ended.

DETAILS: Gorgeous Rock Specimen with miniature Pewter sea tortoise. Measures 1.25 x 2.75 inches. This item was found up north in an abandoned storage unit with other rock specimens. Anyone with the knowledge to identify the rock would be appreciated. Additionally, I will soon be posting other items of the like if you are interested in geode slices, geodes halves, raw gem stones, drewsie clusters, stone jewelry and more. All Items were found together as a collection and will be listed separately.

Ullo sweets, one correction plz, it's a Sea Turtle, I owe a friendly Speedy she's bout 10-12 yrs old & she's a Ornate Box Tortoise, tortoise r land creatures & turtles r sea/land & their cousin lives in both, preferably in dark dank water...have been doing reptile rescue 4 bout 15 + yrs...ur object is very beautiful. .f/w

Awesome very pretty. And it is definitely a thunder egg. Its Oregon's state rock. I use to find many of those when I lived in Oregon.

....and A thunderegg (or thunder egg) is a nodule-like rock, similar to a filled geode, that is formed within rhyolitic volcanic ash layers. Thundereggs are rough spheres, most about the size of a baseball—though they can range from less than an inch to over a meter across. They are a solid circle layer inside with a solid crystal/gem for in center . And looks different from this Milky Quarts Crystal here.

This is called a Milky Quartz Crystal the outside is the vain of quarts that seeped into a solid rock formation that contained other minerals and in hotter or colder temperatures will form the milky quartz crystals this egg piece is broke off of part of a bigger rock formation containing the main vain of the crystals. On rare occasions are crystals clear on tips original and have the brown color from oxides .crystals as this can be Very valuable and even top almost $4k ..you can see other crystals as this formation

That is one fabulous Geode!!! I looks to have some drusy, the crystals are of large sturdy quality, very nice clean cut across!!!! Do you have the other half as well???? These are the fun ones you can dig out the crystal, make beautiful;l items with them, and still have a magnificent Geode!!!!! Grand work Sweetie!!!!!!! I will not be bidding as I have them flowing out the door, but I am a huge fan!!!!!!!!!!!
