For all you Techies out there, I have no idea if this phone works, but what i do know is that it comes with a Koozie and it's an LG Chocolate Music Phone W/O Charger, my uncle gave me this phone and i have no idea if it works because i don't have a charger for it so i am listing it as parts ONLY... Bid only if you want to find out if it works and if bidding goes over 5,000 i will throw in a key chain digital Picture viewer/ Clock that will be a great Christmas present and it works for sure lol :)...

No, it's CDMA it doesn't require a SIM nor does it take one. Thank You for the Question though :)
