This prayer is at least 60 yrs old & was my mothers. The author is unknown..She grew up very hungry & nothing made her happier to see us kids do dishes every night for a family of 9..The rest of this prayer will tell you why..Great for framing, gifts

She put a pic on FB...they are weathering the storm...Noah looks so cute in a little chevron and striped hoodie. They are very close to the shore (Charleston) and the storm appears to be centered more inland...she said they sometimes don't get it as bad and the interior part of the state...whatever, it appears to be huge!

Seemed like that storm picked up speed after it made landfall..Thank God Hawaii did no get nailed by back to back hurricanes..The first was a monster..I have friends on the big Island & they were really sweating it but another on the way..uugghh..Babies usually sleep good in the rain for some reason & hope they hang in :))

Those Dr's are a real bummer sometimes..They did the same thing to a friend but her blood pressure was too high even with meds..She finally had it last month & is feeling better like you will….Hugs Anna & we will limp together for a while I guess xoxoxo

Yes we have fires all around. Not sure how Yellowstone is doing. Been so busy with the grandkids in school, Special Olympics, work and home haven't even gotten to watch the news. It is smokey up here and wrecking havoc with the grandson with Asthma. So hot and dry, suppose to cool down, I hope! Wishing you a terrific Thursday!!

Yes the weather is a bummer & I thought about D & N..I worry about the homeless & stray animals too..I hope they opened shelters of some kind for them..Mail service has stopped in a lot of places in Louisiana as their homes are under water..I am so grateful for my dirty dishes tonight :))

Brings me back to my days on Okinawa, typhoons that would pick you care up right off the pavement. We would hunker down for days on the base. Of course, my husband was somewhere off in the Far East somewhere while me and the three girls weathered it out with the other families on the island. Those were the days!

Di was in 1st-2nd grade when we lived on the island. Funny, you'll love this one....she is named after a hurricane....Hurricane Diana battered the NC coast for a week the week she was born...we were stationed at Ft. Bragg....everyone thinks we named her after Princess Diana and we love to tell them, "no, Hurricane Diana!" LOL....
