what is the date code on the bottom of lighter, its a letter on left side and a number on right side, either roman or regular number, thanks

I dont see any numbers on it. The paperwork that came with it when i got it said zippo. not sure what you are talkin about?? I paid 30.00 for it like 6mo ago. Quit smokin 3 mo ago and never used it.

if it dont say zippo on the bottom of the lighter, then its not a zippo, sorry, they also have date codes on the bottom, newer ones have a letter on the left and a number on the right, either roman or regular numbers, older models have slash marks or dots as a date code.

this lighter was given out by us gold cigarettes about 6 months or so ago, there were four different styles. (ive got two myself)

I bought this one at a yard sale for 30.00!! Guy swore it was a zippo! Looked like one and im no expert. So i bought it. My loss for sure. Wish i had known before i blew 30.00 for a piece of c--p. lol

There was an 8Ball Zippo that was available (late 90's) from
CamelCash. I have it.
