The listing, Very Rare Vintage G.R Ceramic Monk/Friar Figurines has ended.

DETAILS: Very Rare Vintage G.R Ceramic Monk/Friar Figurines. Vintage 50’s these items are not only rare but are rarely found in a big lot. This was a buy from an old acquaintance. The Vintage collector that I received these from was 87 when she decided to part with these cheerful fellows. She received them from her neighbor years ago when she lived in Canada. They have been sitting on an overhang in her living room and have some left over dust. There are 8 Gentlemen in total some in better shape than others all in good condition (see photos). Friar Sausage (yellow garb) has a nice Chip on his Toe and sleeve with vintage wear everywhere else, that toe is the worst of the lot (see photo)//Luck & Abundance Monk Friar holding Chickens is in awesome condition with no damage//Hardy Wine Drinking Friar in grey garb holding a red bottle is in very nice vintage condition no damage// Hardy Wine Drinking Friar in Brown garb holding a green drink, very tiny nick on toe//The twins holding their belly are both in awesome vintage condition and the//The twins hold the (item?) are in awesome vintage condition: the one in brown garb has a nicked toe.

NOTE: All items are vintage with vintage age and wear. Other items of the like found online have been viewed without paint. These item may have been painted sometime after created. The paint itself is old with mild patina on it and in some cases cover old chips. Additionally, all but 1 figurine has the makers mark engraved G.R. The last has been sign by name unknown (possibly the painter) Dust is still caked in between the neck folds of these jolly boys, so a bath may be needed. Size: 3.5 inches each at 4-5 oz. per figurine. ((please ask any and all question on any concerns)) ((additional research is welcome))
