Description

The listing, 5 sticks of 2 GB DDR2-800/PC2-6400 RAM has ended.

This auction is for 5 sticks of 2 GB DDR2-800/PC2-6400 (it goes by a lot of names) RAM.

I had an older machine that I was trying to upgrade to its maximum RAM capacity of 8 GB. To that end, I ordered a few different sets of RAM. But I always seemed to get RAM errors. Eventually I realized that one of the RAM ports on the motherboard is bad, so I'm stuck with only 4 GB in the computer.

Through thorough testing, I have found all 5 of these sticks work just fine. If you can think of a use for them, they're yours.

Shipping is on me. Happy bidding and happy new year!

The bottom 2 red sticks are each 1gb. Please list model number for the top 3. Model number looks to be 2nd line on left sticker beginning with GL..

Oh wow, you're right! The bottom 2 were the original 2x1GB sticks in the machine. I need to delete this auction and relist it with the correct description.

Watch for the relist.

That, or your OS isn't 64-bit

Good call. However, I was running both 64-bit OSes and they would hang after awhile. Low level memory testing tools consistently revealed errors which I eventually isolated to one of the memory ports.

Okay, so it looks like I can't delete the auction manually after there are bids. Instead, I have added a clarification in light of Miolnier's correction. Also, I have added close-up photos of the spec stickers as well as transcribed them into the clarification.
