Mr. Elephant's supper time at the Dallas Zoo. This pachyderm stood still for quite a while, stuffing its mouth with food from its trunk. This gentle beast seemed to enjoy the attention it got from myself and my classmates as we sketched and pastelled him.

Great piece for lovers of nature, the wild outdoors and african jungle animal life. Bring a visual safari to your animal art collection!

Dry pastel (powdered pigment crayons) is my medium of choice.
