This is a great new PS4SLIM version!! I owned the Ps4 console that was being bundled before the Slim which was good also, But since it was stolen out of my Jeep I went with this and its MUCH BETTER IMO.

The Uncharted4 Game is Great! Ive played the 3 before this one and it really is good and Graphics are amzing!

The Slim console itself and even the controller are updated. The slim is allot cooler and less Noise(honestly ITS REALLY SILENT) The other was a bit noise. The HDD is Different they have a Toshiba Brand in this one, It still runs 5400rpm speeds but it is a whole different brand. Very easy to change out if you decide to upgrade to a Higher HDD also! I changed mine out to a 2TB HDD. I bought mine about 2weeks ago and After playing it almost a whole weeknd and leaving it on basically the whole time other than when it went into RESTMODE itself and it was just warm, Which is really good! The 1 thing they removed which Not sure why but not a big deal is the Optical Out Port. The Power and Inject buttons are Both Physical now,Which Personally I like. 1 BIG change is the Power consumption is allot lower, I think by around 40% And they even Improved the WIFI its 5GB IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac supported.

So its not just a smaller better looking(Imo) Version of PS4 things were changed.
The Controller is a bit different too, not by much but it is. Allot of people are just jumping straight to the PS4PRO which is main thing is support of 4k Tvs.
I just do and always have Liked almost all the PS SLIM models over their Launch models, they just look more stylish and clean.
With that being said And coming from someone who has owned Both models now I would for sure Go for this over a Launch version ! The VR headset Should Be really interesting to for everyone who gets one or has one. I Highly Suggest if your into Fighting Games to Buy the New Mortal Kombat XL!! Its really fun!

If you are planning on a headset Go for 1 Of the SONY PS versions, Their is a HEADSET companion app that has preloaded game setting for several of the Popular games,also for different Movie types. The app is only good for the headsets Made by Sony for PS. I have the SONY PS GOLD 7.1 Set ,The newest is Platinum there is also 1 called PULSE as well.. The Mic is hidden into the headset so you dont have it stuck out the side or wrapped around your Mouth. The Gold just dropped from $99.99 to I think 65.00 or 70.00 I lucked up and found it on sale for little cheaper than $65.00
