Description

The listing, MICKEY MANTLE AUTOGRAPHED AMERICAN LEAGUE BASEBALL has ended.

Personally signed American League Baseball - Mickey Mantle Hall of Fame Superstar, New York Yankees. There is no certificate of authenticity to accompany this ball. You get this guaranteed authentic signature and an archival quality acid free cubed ball holder to keep it nice.
How do I know that it's real ? He signed it for me himself in person. My eye witness certification. This ball was signed in the hospitality room and bar at Seattle Center in 1989. I was a dealer at a Superstar Celebrity Baseball Card Convention. The meet and greet was set up for dealers at that show.
I will NOT lower the GIN, so don't even bother making an offer. 20 mil is the limit on Listia, and I wish I could make it higher. This is the lowest I will go.
Special Note : When Mickey walked in, he shushed us before we could applaud. He goes up to a smoking hot blonde at the bar and says, " Hi Beautiful, I'd like to introduce myself, I am Mickey Mantle, Hall of Fame Baseball Superstar, can I buy you a drink ? " She looks him up and down and says, " Yeah right, you old *****, nice try. " To which about 100 of us dealers busted up laughing. Not sure if the whole thing was staged, but it sure was funny.
" The Mick " was a lifetime .298 hitter with 2,415 hits, 536 home runs and 1,509 Runs batted in. He was a 20 time All Star. Seven time World Series Champion. Three time American League MVP. Triple Crown in 1956. Gold Glove award 1962. AL batting champion in 1956. Four time AL home run leader. AL RBI leader 1956. New York Yankees #7 retired. Major League Baseball All Century Team. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.
Mickey died August 13th, 1995 at age 63.
This item will be shipped Priority Mail for free with tracking and insurance.
*Added note : A certificate of authenticity would not make this ball more authentic than it already is. It's only as good as the expert who makes the determination. It's only a piece of paper. I was there, I saw it signed and I swear it's real.

I pulled a 1991 Score autographed Mickey Mantle out of a 1991 Score 2 box on my 21st. birthday.

I still have the signed Mick to this day. This Mick is worth about $600 and numbered out of 2500.

It is authenticated. By me. I saw it signed and I swear it is real and that it will stand up to ANY legitimate authentication process. I guarantee it 100 percent guarantee it. I have 100 percent positive unblemished feedback. Trusted seller and buyer.

i have no doubt that this is authentic, as is the story that goes with it. the problem is, it is just that....a story. i know that i would need more than someones word when plopping down $727 worth of credits. the truth is, i wouldn't pay $300 for it w/o a COA. nothing against you or your integrity, just would want my investment protected. great item and love the story. good luck.

It is true that anyone winning this item would be relying on my truthfulness and integrity. I believe my 100% positive buyer and seller feedback helps to support my claims. It is also a documented fact that there was a celebrity autograph show in Seattle, and that there was a dealer hospitality hour, and that I was a dealer at that show. The fact that I stand by my guarantee, which is also backed by Listia Assurance, there is no risk for a buyer. A buyer can get it double authenticated with a cert, or trust my word. My witness is my certification of authenticity.

This is real. There is no paperwork. Just the ball and my word that he signed it in person.

Great item, we had a 56" Topps Mantle Baseball card signed 30 years ago and it was sent in to be graded, came back a PSA 8! Sold it in 2014 for $8,500 with his Signature. Nobody believed us the signature was real, just because we met him at the National Sports Card's collectors convention and he signed it for us. Good luck in the auction. I out up some American History Artifacts from the Civil War for 20 million Crédits, maybe of they go, we can offer a bid.

Without a COA. that's a lot of points. I have one in my store with JSA Authentication
. It also has a Whitey Ford autograph. Good Luck. High points for most people

This ball will stand up to the JSA Authentication scrutiny if a buyer wants to go that route. I have enough of a reputation in the hobby that many will vouch for my integrity. If I say it's real, you can take that to the bank. JSA has been professionally authenticating signatures since 1986. I have been authenticating signatures since 1974. This one in particular I obtained myself.
