How do I know that it's real ? He signed it for me himself in person. My eye witness certification. This ball was signed in the hospitality room and bar at Seattle Center in 1989. I was a dealer at a Superstar Celebrity Baseball Card Convention. The meet and greet was set up for dealers at that show.
I will NOT lower the GIN, so don't even bother making an offer. 20 mil is the limit on Listia, and I wish I could make it higher. This is the lowest I will go.
Special Note : When Mickey walked in, he shushed us before we could applaud. He goes up to a smoking hot blonde at the bar and says, " Hi Beautiful, I'd like to introduce myself, I am Mickey Mantle, Hall of Fame Baseball Superstar, can I buy you a drink ? " She looks him up and down and says, " Yeah right, you old *****, nice try. " To which about 100 of us dealers busted up laughing. Not sure if the whole thing was staged, but it sure was funny.

*Added note : A certificate of authenticity would not make this ball more authentic than it already is. It's only as good as the expert who makes the determination. It's only a piece of paper. I was there, I saw it signed and I swear it's real.
