Description

The listing, 2008-W "BURNISHED" American Silver Eagle has ended.

This auction is for the Uncirculated 2008-W Burnished American Silver Eagle.
It comes in the Original Mint Packaging and includes the Certificate of Authenticity. This coin has been specially Minted with the Burnished, .999 Fine Silver, 1 Troy Ounce Planchet and always carries a much higher value than even the Proof Eagles.

I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.
Just let it be known that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible.
Now that the holidays are over, the Post Office is still taking extra days to get packages to their destinations, or having trouble getting them to the correct destinations. I have items that are taking up to 2 weeks for delivery, so keep this in mind when bidding.
Because of this I check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary and when tracking does state delivery, will get in touch with you to verify that the tracking information is correct if you do not claim receipt by the end of the delivery day.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

Maybe the winner of this coin is for someone born in 2008. Check out my listing I have a nice Happy Birthday coin Holder. Would make this a great Birthday present as well as a solid investment.

I looked at your auction you are speaking of and it would be a great addition to this coin if given to someone born in 2008.
you also have a couple other auctions that this coin would look great in as well. The majority of my coins come in a small plastic zip-lock so you have some great stuff to make these look much better in.

I have to comment. I checked out frames and while neat, they only hold 5 coins . Cent through half dollar. This wouldn't fit into frames

he has multiple cases that will carry single coins and multiples, unless the singles that he had listed sold with a GIN.
is the birthday and anniversary gift cases gone?

Aww... Maybe then. I assumed the first two I came across were the ones. Boy 5 coin and Girl 5 coin. There could be more. Sorry if I misinformed anyone

I went and checked and they are still there, actually one is on the same page as the ones you found.
I think that maybe the ones that you did find are to hold the 5 coins plus an eagle instead of a picture, but could hold both?

I see a silver eagle happy birthday case, congratulations and the two 5 coin frames. I missed the two under the frames. Using my phone and stopped scrolling at the frames last time. They would make a fine addition to this coin.

You'd have to crack the coin from mint case. I doubt it will accept that case in B-Day case.

it is in a mint capsule which will open easily, just would never open it if I was not moving it to something else. I would say that the coin auction commented on should stay as is, but I have other Eagles that would be perfect for them

I bet! You list some nice stuff. I'd imagine what your keeping!

if my daughter saw what I was keeping, she would come around, but right now my granddaughter showed interest last time she was here and still has no clue exactly what is coming her way. if only I could have started a collection with what she will have :-\

I bet and that's exactly what my ultimate plan is with mine of course. But if your granddaughter gets " the silver bug" :) maybe it would be better left and she can possibly continue with her children

it, of course, is up to her as to what she wants to do with it. it is still all to be shared by both and it will be a shame if my daughter takes hers just to sell it, but my granddaughter already knows what is worth keeping and she can easily come out ahead by giving the silver bullion away and keeping the rest.

The birthday coin Holder is an airtime type of Holder the other birthday and congratulations and simpler coin holders. Wearing a pair of cotton gloves you can open the airtime Holder place the coin in it and seal it. Pretty similar to what the coin graders use. When I sell them on other sires I sell them starting at $25 & have sold for as much as $35? Great gift and investment. Thanks

at least I do not feel like I am the last on earth who still uses cotton gloves to handle coins.

They are true coin holders. If you wear cotton gloves these are very good holders I have sold them from $25 to $30 on other sites. They make a great gift and an even better investment. The boy & girl that you saw are for annual sets not large silver eagles. Thank you

It looked as though the Birth Year holder could hold the 5 coin, penny thru Half with the biggest hole above the right size for an Ike Dollar or an Eagle.
I am sure you know best with it in hand, and a picture is better anyways. :)
