Offered is a presidential 1964 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE headquarter Original 1" lithographed lapel tab that promoted Democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson LBJ for President against Republican Barry Goldwater.

Despite Johnson's completion of so much of John F. Kennedy's legacy and Civil Rights Act accomplishments, Vietnam became the reason LBJ did not seek another term as president.

What is especially nice about this tab is that it shows DEMOCRATIC NAT'L COMMITTEE and is dated 1964 on the top of the tab as the issuer of this official campaign item.

There might be some very minor slight scratches as you might expect as these lithographed tab came in contact with similar tabs and button type badges during distribution, however, this example has not been folded over and is almost Mint condition.
