It is very picky about when it wants to play games. Sometimes it will play a game immediately and other times you could have to mess with it a million times before it recognizes a game is inserted. It is broken on one of the hinges but I haven't found this affects game play.
Also I'm not positive that I have a charger cord for this but I will keep looking and if I find one I'll update that I have one. But no promises as of right now.
