I do feel that way also. I had one not long ago, smaller in size, and really dark. I thought it rather ugly, the shape not too great. Lucky for me, I was able to sell it and got a lovely price. Now I need one that is much prettier and not so dark! This one seems to fit the bill exactly. The photo showing the bottom there seems to be cut similar to the Rose Quarts I won from you a ways back... and that's what thrilled me. I believe that, as well as the other whose name I can't even begin to spell. lol, are just perfect. So, I'm positive this is too as you know I believe you've done an incredible job cutting an shaping these. Hopefuly your Tuesday night is terrific also and please excuse my typos as Listia HATES my laptop and doesn't let me go back to correct my words sometimes. (Really, this site is the twilight zone for my laptop. Its so strange!)

You are right this would be roughly the same shape and cut as the Rose Quartz you got from me. Since I shape them myself then they all tend to have only slight variations that come from the size of the piece that I started working with.
I do agree with you deciding to rid yourself of a piece you felt was "ugly" because that means it wasn't suppose to be yours. Hopefully you became the conduit for someone else to get the Gemstone/Crystal that they needed. To them the piece is probably beautiful. =)
