Description

The listing, Like New Silver Apple Mini 2 - "Dealer Overstock" has ended.

* This listing is for a refurbished Silver iPad Mini 2 WiFi only.
* The iPad is overstock unit.
* It is fully tested and works perfectly.
* Cosmetic grade is rated as 9 to 9.5 out of 10.
*This iPad was purchased in a large wholesale lot. It is repacked in generic white boxes together with what looks like a new charger and cable. I did a minor crush on the bottom part of the box. It still looks pretty good. Overstock units are not brand new sealed in retail box items. These units are classified as "Buyer Remorse or Carrier Return." This is defined as purchased by customers from retail stores and then returned with 14 days.
* This item is tested and working and unused by me except for charging and testing. There is new film on the screen which I did not remove. I think I wiped off my own fingerprints from the signature shiny Apple silver back :-).
* The unit powers onto the iOS setup welcome screen.
* I charged it fully.
* It was purchased here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/272558102050 for $219.
* I will ship free and require a specific signature.
* Please provide you complete mailing address and the person who will be signing for the Mini, as that is the person who will be on the address. I will ship insured via FEDEX Home Delivery.
* Please also provide your Email address as well and a phone number where you can be reached in case there are delivery issues, FEDEX likes to have the deliveree's phone number.

Edits on my long post. The 20 million credits gold coin is 1/10 of an ounce, not 1/20th. Also $165 + $50 + $45 = $260, for total profit of $41 or $260/219 = about 20% profit for my time. Believe me, that may only be a small dent on the amount of loss, not that I'm complaining because Listia is more than a place to make money and is a very difficult place to make a living if that is what you want to do.

That is also note, whenever you start in a new endeavor or work in a new market, there is usually a learning curve and if it's trading, you lose money at first until you get the hang of the ropes. I'm still getting the hang of the ropes and $41 is not going to put me in the black here...

As the Bible says: "Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues." - Proverbs 10:19 and paraphrasing Shakespeare, "Methinks thou hast protest too much." Anyway, I used to wonder about the high credits charged by some sellers for some objects. I wonder less now and don't feel so bad about charging high prices. If someone has a lot of credits, they probably know what they are worth to them and they won't have gotten them by paying Listia 27,500 a dollar for them, but instead from selling things at similar high amount of credits. There's been an inflation that is not controlled by the government's (Listia that is in this analogy) control over the exchange rate and exchange amount limits for resale.

Yes, but Listia takes 10%, so I would only get 18 million. After that, I could sell the credits back to Listia, but they would take an additional 20%. That means 14,4000,000. However now since they put in credit sale limits, I can only sell 6 million at a time and then wait 35 days. I'm not going to wait 35 days.

So instead, I will try to buy gold and silver coins and resell them. When I sell gold and silver coins I lose another 10% on fees and postage. So that means the 18 million goes down to 16,000,000. Now because of the new credit sale limits in place, gold and silver coins on Listia, have greatly inflated in credit amounts. One seller wants 20,000,000 credits for a gold Eagle of 1/20 of an ounce that can be sold for $140. That is a joke.

Let's say instead I buy the 1/10 of an ounce coin that is selling for 9,988,888 credits. That one is graded by NGC at 69 and could be one from 2016 or 2017 First Day or early release. Those sell on eBay for about $150 - $165. So I then have 6 million credits left to buy silver coins. The best I think I can do is buy the High Relief Gem B.U. 2 Oz. .999 Fine Silver Cleopatra, which Mr Mike is selling for 2,250,000 credits and sells online for about $50.

So then I'm left with 3,750,000 to buy more silver coins. If I'm lucky, I can get 2 more one-ounce silver coins for that amount, which I could, in turn, sell for maybe $45 in total.

So the final total is if I'm lucky $165 + $50 + $45 = $250. However one is rarely lucky in this business because let's say no one buys it with a GIN and the tablet goes for 15 million, at that point, I may lose $30. In fact the tablet may only sell for 10 million, who knows.

The point is, I'm not only doing this for profit and if I were, I would probably be taking a silly risk. I'm also doing this for fun and for community spirit if I might speak something that usually remains unspoken.

I would be happy if you could give me a better accounting.

These credits are driving me crazy, everyone has a different Gin for the same items. I guess we will have to use our credits wisely. My husband thinks the new credit system is assinine. Thanks, Miss Linda

I took a break from Listia for about a year after my father passed. Just came back and I was shocked at how much the credit to dollar markup had become! Right before I left, I did a GIN on a new 3DS for 1,100,000 credits. The same console now goes for 10,000,000 credits. SMH!! There is also the breakdown that they send you in case you're watching a item and don't have enough credits, Listia tells you how much money you'll need to get the item. And it's ridiculous!! You have 5,000,000 credits and they tell you you will need to add z,3,or 400.00 to purchase the item, and this totally defeats what Listia was initially set up to do! Purchase quality items that you want or need for credits, NOT CASH!! Most of the time the amount that you need to add is more than the item would cost if you purchased it from a store..and that's not even adding in the credits that you have. It's really gotten out of hand. I really hope that Listia rethinking how this site is being run. Personally, I don't think they're helping anyone but themselves. That's sad. My rant is now over lol!

Well, I know what you say about inflation of credits is true, however, I think the guys/gals(?) who run Listia have good intentions. I think they are struggling with the inflation thing. Governments certainly often struggle with inflations in their economies, and do the same thing as the administrator here, by currency manipulation and I think like using parallel currencies like using both their own and the dollar. I'm pretty sure they have an economist or two on staff who is telling them what to do to try to help them. What's going on is probably just the nature of the beast and they are desperately trying to control it. Maybe what is next is a currency devaluation, with say 100 old credits, to 1 new or something similar so that people don't need to drag out a calculator so often.

I am an old user where a giftcard barely reached 20k. And now a $10 one goes well over the 600k mark! I have bidded on this wonderful item, and maybe I will get lucky and win and maybe not. Good Luck to whatever may occur! And God Bless! P.s. I like your comment on the GIN being too high, to me it be well worth it if I had that much I would take the GIN
