READ BEFORE BIDDING: We list mostly used books; if you are not certain of our descriptions (like new, good condition, etc.) please ask before bidding....our definitions may not agree with yours. We post a postage amount for each auction; you should expect to pay that amount. We cannot offer free shipping; please do not ask. We do combine wins, saving you some postage. We will consider GINs if requested. When your win(s) arrives, if there is a problem, please contact us so we can correct it. Otherwise, please post feedback so we know you got the item; we will then post feedback for you. If you don’t like to post feedback, and/or fan another Listian, please DO NOT bid on our auctions. I always worry about descriptions, especially since some expressions may not be read by bidders as I "see" them. I try never to post books that are in too bad condition, UNLESS they are books that readers really want just to read. Most cookbooks that are not in good shape usually get given to my heavy cookbooks bidders (read that heavy as frequent! not to imply a weight problem!!!!)

Inside is clean, tight. Covers look like a new book, except the library has a DDS code on a small white sticker at the bottom of the spine. Unfortunately, the entire spine and an inch or so out onto each cover has a heavy clear tape so that the DDS code sticker cannot be removed without removing some of the tape. On the under neath bottom edge there is a library stamp. The first page inside has the library card pocket, a large sticker with library name and a small sticker with ISBN code. This entire page could be carefully cut out, as it has no book info on either side; the second page almost appears to be the title page, with its printed info, but the third page is the title page. I did not see any other conditions to point out, although most library books do have the accession number on an inside page; this one may have, but I did not see it. Hope this answers your question; if not, ask again.

Is there a GIN?

Sorry, I don't drink. But if you bid high enough, I can go buy a bottle for you!!! Yes, we have done a few GINs. The only way I will is if the bidder makes an offer......and agrees to the postage. GIN in that case is usually small. Stay off the gin for a couple of hours and let me know. Jay

I thought it was in the description....and it is, the very last words: cash IF you insist!!! So far, we have never had a problem, but with a mailbox out on the street, who knows!!!!

I thought I told you to "lay off" the gin, and then make me an offer. 50,000 is too many, unless you are just trying to get rid of credits. My first few years on here, I could not get over a few hundred because the people were listing great flower bulbs, even live plants, and seeds that I wanted. Then I got to posting and posting and offering very little free shipping. My PayPal account actually stays out of the red most of the time, and I will probably reach 6,000,000 credits tonight or tomorrow. Not many according to many on Listia, but more than I will probably use anytime soon since I am not finding much in the gardening section. I think we have lost a lot of the big listers because of the cheap price of credits now; most of them were doing free shipping and counting on selling the credits to make up the postage. Enough rambling; if you pay the shipping, lets go 20,000; I could be talked a little lower if you are short on credits AND promise to share your bottle with me!!! I will be on for sometime; if you are still there I can post GIN anytime. Jay

How about 20000 and I pay shipping. It is worth it to me as I just found out I am diabetic and need to start a low carb life. Thank you for your fairness

I hope your doctor told you that "bottles" and you will not mix well now!!! You need the book; I don't. So I am off to post it now for GIN of 15,000. (It's ok to sniff the bottle, just don't tip it up to your month!!
