Nicknamed " The Killer " and also " Hammrin Harmon " He had 2,086 career hits with 573 Home Runs and 1,584 Runs batted in. He was a thirteen time All Star. American League MVP in 1969. Six time AL home run leader. Three time RBI leader. His # 3 is retired with the Minnesota Twins. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984.
Personal Note: I hired him as my celebrity autograph guest for a baseball card show at the Salem Armory Auditorium in Salem, Oregon on May 29th, 1988.
Despite his nicknames and powerful style of play, I found him to be a quiet and kind man. He died in 2011 of esophageal cancer. This card will be shipped for free with tracking. I buy, sell and trade. They call me the Sultan of Swap.
