Very mild, tender. If you think you hate turnips, these sweet globes, they will change your mind. Looks like a giant white radish. These small Japanese turnips also make great cooked greens. Good choice for spring and fall gardens. (Plant a few seed in mid/late August and keep well watered for a fall crop.)

Sow ½” deep and 2” apart. Thin to 3” apart. Eat the thinned greens and tiny turnips fresh in salads or cooked mixed with other greens.
