Heads I win tails you win... It is heads. why this is a two sided coin! I never seen one before. No this is not an estate find, this was given to me as change from the store and I just noticed it has two heads on it Has date on each side also 1932.
Happy Mothers day to all moms and remember the day a child is born so is the mother, before the mother she was a woman but that child helped her heart be reborn to learn to love unconditionally. So happy mothers day, and for those with fur-babies they are like kids too...so happy mothers day :)

To all you rude naysayers, let's fact check by point, shall we?
1- In 1932 it was legal to alter money as this coin was. A major collectible today are dimes that were made into love tokens, and cut out coins made into jewelry is still desired by many.
2- Trick- yes it is a 'trick' coin, it is also a novelty, a collectible and made of a silver composite; thus having an intrinsic precious metal value.
3- How it was made has been laid out many times by this seller, with admirable patience! The photos clearly show the method- having the same depth as the quarter coin and a single uninterrupted edging- a second quarter was altered to sit inside if you will, the first quarter.
4- Guess what!? The universe does not revolve around your tastes and your hobbies. Quite a few others who collect coins and currency, would very much like this novel collectible in their collection.
5- I gather you missed the lesson pointing out it costs nothing to be kind.`

This is a Classic Chinese replica ( illegal ) to sell on this open market..I see tons of these Counterfeit at coin Conventions and are on display ONLY to show they are fake from a mass Chinese production as well as other U.S. and world coins ..I know hundreds of coin dealers personally and attend International Coin Conventions ..if you look at pic #1 you will see a dot a top of Washington head that means it is a cast metal from China..your story is very hard to believe from my professional opinion ( found in change ) however still a illegal coin to own..just visit the U.S. Mint Bureau!

Actually you opened mouth with no clue to what you are saying. One my brother is an attorney I always go by legal. Two I have taken it to a coin dealer read it, he said it is not a replica but 2 coins that are US COINS that are put together. Both are silver he said so it has a worth. Try reading the comments. I have already had many from its on ebay to its a trick to now a China replica, I dont know what ebay has..but I know mine is silver, I know its not a trick coin or a replica. People need to learn to stop being so jelly, thats right and learn, they are not here to see it other than a photo and read all comments before spouting, For one I have a trigger happy block finger, Two dont spout with out knowing facts or you will find me spouting on yours. You have to be able to take it, if you like to dish it. It says I took it to a coin professional...gave the address. Dont be jelly!

took to the "COIN ZONE" that Buys, sells and trades coins only address 4300 Grandhaven Rd Norton Shores. He said it is not a mint error. He said mint errors are letters, numbers, too close etc. I said is it a trick coin, I have had comments that they know its a trick coin. He said well they are wrong. He said trick coins can not be mint coins, they have to be made of another material. He said this is real quarter two actually. but what they did was take 2 1932 quarters, cut them in half and fuse them in a machine and there you have your quarter. He said people do it for novelty just like they make real coin jewelry. He said its still worth money since 1932 quarters are silver and he weighed it and said it has the silver weight... which is more than a regular. :) It has been checked by a coin dealer. He also asked me how much do I want for it. I told him I cant sell it I already have bids on it. He said if you change your mind or do not get what you are wanting for it call me and gave me his card...so yay it is a real quarter just two put together. I thought it felt like a quarter...still a nice shock of a surprise to get for change... :D

I'm not trying to be rude but this is nothing more than a novelty coin. They sell on eBay for less than $5 and all of them are dated 1932. It's listed as a magic trick. It's not even silver. Here's a link to one such listing:

I'd run right back to that expert and take that fools money before I'd pass it off to a fellow listian as an authentic coin or modified authentic coin. I'm sorry you got such crappy info from someone who should know better. (Also the acid wouldn't have marred it if it was real silver and the fact that the dealer didn't tell you that is a good sign of his incompetence). I deal in gold and silver daily with 30 plus years of experience. I hate to see a wonderful listia seller such as yourself getting in a mess like this because of a dealer who doesn't know his business.

Well as you can see enough has been said about it...and that is you, but this is my page. My point on here was people dont mind their own business they nose into others. I thought it was cool and others did to otherwise they would not have bid on it. This site is used to match people with what they have to something what another wants. Not to mind others business or carry on on their auctions. I am a big karma person and I am sure many would not want me going to their auctions saying what I would do on their business.. No one cared to anything until the bids were high. But you know what I spent over 10 mil on a pair of shoes. Did they cost that new not even close. But it was my business and I could do what I want to with out the help from anyone else. And if someone wanted to say you can get that way cheaper, I would have blocked them...for the fact its not their business what I want or how I get it. And it avoids the whole purpose of what this site is about. Just another wanting to stir the pot. I believe I am already a fan. Others on here have told me they go around and look at the comments people leave, and they said come join our block party. That is how I have heard of that. The watch auctions and if the comments the people are rude, out of line, downing or belittling to another or telling the their business, they said they automatically block them. So their mouth made them lose business in other words, and probably why the ones that do it, are not doing so well on the site. Now I have joined them and I do the same, look around and see if they are doing it to others (I joined the party lol). It does help in deleting the negativity, and that is why I leave comments, plus I have nothing to hide, very straight forward person. But if they cuss I hide it. I do report people on here also and flag them. The whole block party does...lol. If you find yours and list it let me know and I will share it on fb and twitter. I am all about helping other... Im the stepping stone ;D Not a stepping rug to be walked on...lol.

lol... I am a fan of yours. I just cant believe some of the baby games on here. I worked years with people with disabilities and the elderly. Did my internship and worked online just to get through med school. Now that I finished school I still stay online. But I deal with people that have "real problems" the the bull they sling on here. The mentality of some on here is unreal. Even my patients dont stoop to some of the things I have seen. What comes around goes around. It is just pitiful. I try to make things fun for people and to be a stepping stone, not a stumbling block, like so many that are jelly on here. No fault of yours... you didn't know any better. You never acid test a coin it ruins the coins value. You don't clean coins it ruins the value. You didn't know just some foils trying to give you grief. Notice none of the know it all have even bid on the coin. The fact that it is 1932 on both sides is probably to make it a two headed coin to look the same. Leave the seller alone if you think she's selling bogus items report her to listia but since she is not claiming anything other than receiving this coin as change get off her back. She has gone way
above and beyond to prove things to people that don't even have the bids to bid on it just haters with big mouths that would have nothing to say to your face. Block them hide their worthless comments. Getting any change dated before 1963 happens so few and far between allow the seller to relish in her enjoyment. If you think it's not something you want shut the he'll up leave the seller alone.

Why because I dont know enough about them, but I do jewelry and thank you so much for commenting, it means a lot to me. I list stuff all the time I have no clue on because I do go to a lot of estate and charity sales. But all I can do as a seller and to be a good one, is just to make sure the customer is satisfied... thats all I can do :D

I seen some pretty bad feedback, that usually 9 times out of 10 has to do with ethics. Trying to make everyone happy is not easy and it is impossible, but as long as someone stands behind ethics that is all they can do and be proud in it. Trust me I have come across some unethical people on here and scammers, but the best thing I do is stay away from them. :)

It is not against the law, my brothers attorney, uncles cops and one judge, The people that commented sale coins, It is not my fault or problem if they do not do well in it. I just thought it was neat and really kind of shocked to get it. But I am glad I took it to a coin shop to know more about the one I got. People need to realize their actions create a chain reaction. I have had 19 people now tell me they have went through this auction and blocked others on here just by their comments, that means their downing another auction lost them 19 others business and lost them 19 chances to bid. Why would you even want to lose others because of your own hatefulness I do not know. That is a lot of people that have messaged me. Hate brings out hate, and a persons words shows how they are, and people dont like dealing with those type of people.

Thank you, I have lived here before but further up north, he is from Michigan and work wanted him to relocate...so here I am. I have tried to get him to join this site, but after seeing me on it, he just wants to kick everyone's bottom...lol. But I do love it here, Indiana is very humid so much its hard to breathe humid. Im originally from California...love it out west, I dont miss Indiana other than my one child that is not a baby is still there. But I do miss Kentucky, loved the nature there. But Michigan also has great nature, I went mushroom hunting on over 1000 acres awhile back, and I am geared up to go fishing now :D Most the people here are friendly, that is how it was in Kentucky also... I have been all over because of being in a military family, brothers Marines,Navy, dad was Army and my biological sister is was in the Air force for a long time. But my family loved vacations and loved to travel, and I have noticed people are different in many areas. Michigan is pretty nice, and I love the big lakes and sand it reminds me of what I miss back in California. :D
