New home, starting to see new plants...try 50 feet by 5 feet of nothing but lilly of the valley!! With it being a poisons plant, I will get these all out as soon as they are done blooming. Because they are in the back yard where my dog goes. I will transplant many in the front yard , along the garage and online. I found the best time to dig them up is fall, but also found they can be dug up now after they bloom...which they are blooming now, so this will be a 21 day auction. It stated by digging up earlier than fall you will not see them bloom until next spring, that it is a "tough little plant" besides its delicate nature. This auction will be for 10 (ten of the stalks cut back with rhizomes) They like the shade, do not plant in the sun. To the girl that sent me the extra aloes, dont bid on this... I am sending you some for free :D

Interesting things I found on the plant are as follows... I would not recommend trying it with out knowing anything about plants, herbs, or with out the guidance of a doctor..."During Medieval times, lily of the valley was used by herbalists instead of foxglove.In treating heart disease, lily of the valley is often combined with motherwort (Leonurus cardicia), moonlit cacti (Selenicereus) and hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha).
An ointment made from the plant roots has been used to treat burn d prevent scar tissue.
In aromatherapy, the essential oil of lily of the valley is used to relieve depression, imbue gentleness, happiness, modesty, a sweet disposition and sense of security.
Lily of the valley is associated with the planet Mercury.
Warning:
Supervise children and pets that may be able to access the plant. It produces red berries that kids might eat. All parts of this plant are poisonous.
Once lily of the valley is established, it’s hard to get rid of. A small root left in the soil can resurrect this plant."

Thank you so much :) Its pretty awesome seeing new plants come up. I bought the house in the winter time and thought wow, I need to plant a lot..now its coming up all over, berries, flower trees, 50 by 5 feet was a lot to see. Kept wondering what is that...lol. But once I seen the flowers I knew. Thanks so much...awesome friend, person, listian...with great stuff too :D

Thank you... I wish I had more berries than flowers...lol. But I do grow herbs and have mulberry bushes and raspberries, grapes and just planted 2 apple trees and a fig tree. So once those threes get more established I will list more seeds on here because I make a lot of jams:) I have never seen the show I will have to check it out :D

Oh yea it is. I remember opening the door and had to shovel to get out. I'm in AZ now and the heat is crazy. To cold to hot Geer can't win lol

LOL, My family lives out there and went there last summer, I was expecting hot, but it was pretty nice compared to Indiana, the humidity there is horrible, so I was happy with the dry heat. But yes the weather did change from day to day while I was out there..love it out west :D

lol...yes my first one was up near Mackinaw City, not far from Canada and it was gorgeous the the it looked like glitter on the pines but I was so glad to be near the fireplace and not out in it...lol. Woke up one morning and you could not see outside all white, and when you opened the door all white... now that is snowed in...lol :D

I read an article where it says how the plant that is loved is connected to the person. That lily of the valley is shy, delicate and beautiful yet strong through any storm, and that it takes a lot to knock them down, because even though delicate appearance is very strong and powerful. I thought that article was neat :D and just shared it since it is your favorite :D

Beautiful here, I like nature and plenty of it here :) Went mushroom hunting on over 1000 acres, and that was neat. Also doing hydroponics here with IBC tanks and raising tilapia :D Winter is harsh though, other than that a perfect place to do all that :D

Why? Many on here have the same of one item...but them on... there are just too many that want plants they all will sell. I have 5 foot by 50 foot of just these...lol. so yes I will have more auctions also...you should put yours on as well.

Great auction! I have a ton of these in my garden as well & each year in the spring there is twice as many as the previous year so take that into account when you are relocating them :-)
