Yes, I started our group at church a little over 3 years ago and we are swamped! So glad to be a part of this mission! I find a lot of the yarn we use here on listia and we have been blessed with donations for yarn also.

wouldn't a synthetic yarn be better, just because it is so much easier to care for?I don't usually use wool because of the whole hand wash dry flat issue!

Yeah, that's what we usually use, but for someone in our group's family where we can do the laundering, as in this will be for my mom (who turned 81 today) and I would take care of it for her if I win. I have a nice camel color from KP that I would put with it - stripes or some such.

Thanks! Been worried about her lately. Home health has been in the last several weeks. She has mobility issues and they've been trying to help with PTs, OTs, nurses, etc., but she's been a booger! I have to nag daily for her to do her exercises, etc. sorry for all the venting! Lol! Thanks again!
