The listing, ❁❀10 Lily of The Valley Plants ❀❁ has ended.
The winner changed their mind. Please note knowing bidding and not getting intentionally is not fair to the lister or the people that watched and waited for it. Ive heard more complaints about the new system by many sellers on here, that they made a group and share names of who to block that does that :)
New home, starting to see new plants...try 50 feet by 5 feet of nothing but lilly of the valley!! With it being a poisons plant, I will get these all out as soon as they are done blooming. Because they are in the back yard where my dog goes. I will transplant many in the front yard , along the garage and online. I found the best time to dig them up is fall, but also found they can be dug up now after they bloom...which they are blooming now, so this will be a 21 day auction. It stated by digging up earlier than fall you will not see them bloom until next spring, that it is a "tough little plant" besides its delicate nature. This auction will be for 10 (ten of the stalks cut back with rhizomes) They like the shade, do not plant in the sun.
Interesting things I found on the plant are as follows... I would not recommend trying it with out knowing anything about plants, herbs, or with out the guidance of a doctor..."During Medieval times, lily of the valley was used by herbalists instead of foxglove. In treating heart disease, lily of the valley is often combined with motherwort (Leonurus cardicia), moonlit cacti (Selenicereus) and hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha).
An ointment made from the plant roots has been used to treat burn d prevent scar tissue.
In aromatherapy, the essential oil of lily of the valley is used to relieve depression, imbue gentleness, happiness, modesty, a sweet disposition and sense of security.
Lily of the valley is associated with the planet Mercury.
