Each little statue is a tiny carefully crafted insert in Red Rose tea and has been given away as such since the 1950's. They each measure approx. 1" to 1.5" high and 1.5" to 2" long

Wade pottery factories were established in England and Ireland in the early 1800s. At that time, a variety of family-owned potteries created decorative items, like figurines of animals and people, as well as industrial ceramics and tiles. In the 1950s, the potteries united to form Wade Potteries, Ltd. under Sir George Wade. The company has since changed hands, but the quality of the work remains the same. Although Wade figurines and decorative items have been popular collectibles for decades.
