The listing, Bernat bulky yarn lot has ended.

Lot of royal blue bulky weight roving yarn. This yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% wool. Each full skein is 100 grams (3.5 oz) each. There are 9 pieces in this lot: 6 full skeins and 3 partials. There are all the same dye lot.

Hello. I am interested but I just have a couple questions. I know this says #5 bulky. Can you give me an example of the thickness? Like as thick as a pencil or this is a weird example lol I couldn't think of anything else but thick like a old fashioned Glass thermometer. And second question is this yarn more silky and soft or more of a coarse not shiny yarn.

Hello, I would say thick like a thermometer. It is not coarse either. It is a smooth texture but I wouldn't say silky either. If you go to Wal-Mart and go the the craft section and look the the sizes of the yarns, you can get an idea of what "bulky" is. The thing about bulky yarn is because the yarn is so big it takes more of it to make anything. I personally like "roving" yarn to make a particular crochet hat and I thought this yarn would be great for that, but it is actually too bulky for the project I was working on. I bought it on eBay and paid $50 for it. I decided to let it go after my hat didn't turn out as I had hoped. Hoped that helped...
