The listing, DVD X Copy Platinum has ended.

Can be used to make DVD movie backups. I used it for a lot of mine and it works great. Only problem I had was with some of my newer movies.

System requirements:
DVD burner
CD-ROM drive (for software installation)
500 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM
5400 RPM hard disk drive, 10gb free space
Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP
800 x 600 color video

Receipt inside says I bought it in 2004 for $85

Wow. You bought in 2004? The company that made this program closed shop 2004. You must have been just in time.

Side note:This software will have issues copying DVD movies released after 2004. The reason for this is that this software hasn't been updated for changes in copy protection since 2004 due to the company shutting down, so any copy protections added to DVD movies after 2004 (such as Sony's ARccOS, found on most Disney DVD's) cannot be defeated by this program. Just an FYI to potential bidders. :)

Oh, I didn't even know they closed shop! I thought they were still making newer versions of the software. And thank you for the additional information. I'm sooooo NOT technical when it comes to this stuff lol That explains why there were some of my discs that it didn't work for back when I was using it but when it worked, it worked great! :)
