Oh no! So the person who won last time just kept on bidding & wasbrand new to listia & when it came time to pay they didnt want to buy the credits? Does that sound about right? Oh man! That is terrible, personally, i think listia should not allow newbies or those with less then 20-50 positive feedbacks to be allowed to just keep bidding if they do not have the credits. Their new bidding policy should be a perk so not an everyone can do it kinda thing. Sorry that happened to you what a bummer. Good luck again

Ah man, i just looked & 4 million? Omg ouch! So when that newbie won he thought oh cool but when he saw he had to pay out of pocket like $200 he probably bailed never to be heard of again. That is sooooo scary!!! Listia!! What have you allowed? Any joe shmo who logs on for the 1st time can do that to a seller on here. Oh no no no! That should not be allowed whats so ever! Talk about being burned omgosh!!! He probably had no clue as to what he was doing on here. Something needs to be done about that. At least someone should have 5 positive feedbacks cuz by then you kinda have the hang of listia & can know its not just free credits to do what you will. Sorry im writing a novel lol but wow i am so not happy bout this.

I'm reading your comments and just have to chime in my support for you. I had listed a tablet for 21 days and a new person bid so high that everyone who tried to bid couldn't even get in. She drove it up to over 5 million with her one and only early bid and then never came back. Needless to say it was a complete waste of my time and efforts. I've written my letter to listia about this problem. If we all do this then perhaps they'll get the hint. For now I'm no longer listing. Haven't decided if I'll start again close to the holidays or not. I'm sorry this happened to you too. ☹

It's a definite flaw in the system, I knew it was trouble ,as soon as they let you bid with credits you didn't already have! It was better that way! Thanks,I'm not much of a writer,but I'll look for a place to email them!
