This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, 1873 Trade Dollar (Guaranteed to be 90% silver) has ended.

Diameter: 38.1 millimeters

Metal Content:

Silver - 90%

Copper - 10%

Weight: 27.2 grams

Edge: Reeded

NOTICE: Please read the full listing carefully before placing a bid. My dad bought these on eBay and got screwed. He took them to get graded but ANAC could not guarantee that they were authentic. My dad was going to melt these down but I offered to take them off his hands and offer them to someone that can appreciate these forms of artwork or or too expensive to add to the coin collection.

The weight is correct, the diameter is correct, the composition is correct. I guarantee you that this coin contains 90% silver and 10% copper. This is the exact coin that you will receive.

FACT:

Many Trade Dollars made their way to China, and they where used as trading currency in China. A few began making copies of this coin to sell (it's considered a form of art work in their country), and unfortunately these counterfeits made it back to the US. Some of these counterfeit Trade Dollars fooled the experts, and many used to be sold on ebay until collectors became informed.

It's the same size as a piece or Morgan dollar, and it's bigger than a Kennedy half-dollar. I'm giving you a link to go to for more reference.
