I'm not a drinker, but I have a friend who would love this. My other friend LOVED your "Depresso" sign about the coffee. Hi there, Lady! Loving my beautiful ring!!

Happy Friday to you and hope all is well. Yeah after reading your story (that chapter you shared) I'm not surprised to learn you're not a drinker ;) I honestly don't even like to promote drinking but I've relaxed my stance a little LOL. Yeah these are funny and we've got to be able to laugh at ourselves for sure!

Awww...well thank you for taking the time to even read my story to begin with...that means a lot :) yes I don't judge anyone who does & I used to be a pretty heavy drinker myself. it's just I like my connection to the reality of this world & have found that when my sense are diminished, I loose my connection with everything...not fun in my book, lol! ;) happy Friday to you too hun & it's always good to hear from you :) muah!

I admire your braveness for putting your story out there. That can't have been easy to do at first. I recently celebrated my 7 year sobriety anniversary and got nothing but flack from my "real" family. I'm working on being more tolerant; some people I think don't MEAN to be dense but they are clueless. I hated that feeling of diminished senses and lack of control. I've copied and sent that chapter to several people actually; whether they've read it or not I'm not sure but I sure have! LOL XOXO

HaHa I didn't realize that I was still the high bidder on this (AND on your cherry necklace)! Thank you so much, your wonderful words mean SO SO much. So many people just don't get it and what it means to be strong. I've learned to "lower" my involvement with my family just so I can survive. And yes your story is truly amazing; you are a hero to me, My Friend!

Thanks sweetie! You are truly terrific & an inspiration. I also really appreciate your support on Facebook. You rock!
Sometime I'm order for us to grow into our fullest potential & become the highest versions of ourselves that we can be, we must let go of all toxicity (as hard as that may be) & often times it means letting go of the ones we love the most (sometimes family) but I refer to "letting go" as not participating in the lower level interaction that brings us down. It's not necessary to shut the door completely on others or anyone, but to keep them at a distance sometimes is absolutely necessary. We never know if or when they will "wake up" themselves & be ready & open to come out of their cocoon & emerge into the butterfly that they were meant to be...that we are all meant to be :) have a fantastic Thursday beautiful one! :)
