Applying pure VE onto skin is a safe and natural way to keep those pesky bugs away from you. It naturally repels mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and other insects as they can't stand the smell. It's also a great natural alternative to using commercial insect repellants that are filled with chemicals and unsafe components that would be absorbed into your body.

It's important to use real and pure VE w/ no additives like sugar, corn syrup, food coloring, etc. in it. The vanilla beans were washed, grinded, and macerated to steep in vodka. It's been steeping since Aug 2014 and continues to steep until sold. Like most wines, VE matures with age and the quality increases.

Directions to use as Insect Repellant
- Add 1 tbs of VE to a small bowl.
- Add 1 tbs - 1 cup water to the bowl and mix.
- Dip a cotton ball into mixture and apply to skin.
- Apply undiluted VE to neck, skin, and other pulse points.
- Effectiveness last for approximately 30 min-1 hr. Reapply as soon as effectiveness decreases.
- Save unused solution in a container to take with you on the go.

Other conventional uses
Deodorizer
- Use same solution above and place into a spray bottle to use in a room. It helps neutralizes odors and freshens a room.
- Place diluted VE in a wax tart warmer to scent a room.
- Place undiluted VE in a cup and use in microwave or oven for a little time to remove strong odors.
- Add undiluted VE (1 tbs per gal) to paint mask fumes w/o affecting the color of the paint.
- Can be used in store-bought or homemade cosmetics, such as lotions, lip balm, soaps, candles and more.

For external use only. As with all skin applicants, do a skin patch test before using to check for allergy and any unexpected reaction.

The VE should be kept away from sunlight. No refrigeration needed.
