The listing, Carnelian, Opal Inlay, Onyx and Sterling Earring and Ring Set has ended.

This was actually not from an estate but a charity auction. The ring is a size 6, and just found the matching earrings that I got with it. Carnelian and opal inlay on ring, no markings. Carnelian opal inlay, onyx on pierced curved earrings, marked Ster on post and Sterling and F. Barney on back of earrings. 1 credit start 21 day auction and free shipping, thank you :)

Could be. I looked up these earrings before listing it and found 3 pairs ranging from $45.00 on up. Two they listed as Carnelian one they listed as coral. My presidium gem tester can not read between the difference of coral and Carnelian.

Coral isn't cold to the touch, carnelian would be(coral is actually more like bone, of the coral like an outer animal ,organic, and carnelian is stone or a mineral,rock) red coral is becoming quite scare due to coral diseases and human pollution.Coals are classified as "Sessile" meaning they take root the same way as a plant,lol! They are confusing!But it's great to earn about them and understand them.I collected corals from the beaches in Florida years ago and in Sanibel Island , there would be lots of black branch coral washed up after storms. https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/coral.html

Have you seen the guy with only 3 auctions behind him who has a bid of 26+million on a 10k spinner necklace? It's insane! I am thrilled for him! You too had high bids right out of the gate! I seen it, hope its real last gold auction I won was great and I can not believe it went so low for almost 7 grams and is real, but the three prior were marked but fake! So I hope it is legit, the last one took me almost a month to get my credits back, he did return to sender on it and would not accept the shipment, paid for insurance and confirmation cause he tried to claim empty packages from the site before I ever sent it. After I finaly said you best except the package or the next thing you get in the mail will be an attorney letter, he finally signed for it. It ended up costing me almost 30.00 for shipping to resend and fight him. So I am Leary on the people that are not regular gold sellers on here now. I always have mine checked before I list from a jeweler, and I guarantee it or I pay return shipping! All the new gold sellers dont know what they are doing and it is making people mad. Now think about that auction. It is over 1000.00 in scrap gold, where they can get 1000.00 cash for it being real gold. Would you honestly want less worth and in only credits? Things that make you go hmmmm. lol.
