hi, welcome to Listia. as had been said earlier, with a positive reputation, you would get alot of credits for this item. people get scared to bid high on new people items until they have established a positive track record of shipping the items. after some time, you will also be able to list your credits to sell for cash. as others have said, it is best to start with smaller, inexpensive items to establish yourself as a trustworthy Listian. then the sky is the limit on the amount you will get for the expensive stuff. you can print labels right off Listia, Paypal.com/shipnow and the USPS website. anything under 16 ounces can be shipped 1st class mail w/ a tracking number and is the cheapest. anything over a pound, priority is the best. please make sure to add a tracking number no matter what service you ship with. it will protect you against people making false claims that they didn't receive the item. good luck with this and it seems that me and bunny may be at a war bidding. lol! good for you.

Once listed and auction can only be updated as you did. This advice is for future auctions :) I hope you put up more items! You might want to start out with smaller, less expensive items. Once you have a few auctions completed with positive feedback, you get your Sellers Wings badge. Then you can add a GIN = Get it Now. That is a price you will accept to have the winner grab it for that price. Once the GIN is used, the auction is over. You could have asked a very high GIN for this item. Hopefully, you will get tons, it will be shipped as soon as you can and you will be getting Positive feedback. Right now, I am the highest bidder! i will bid as high as I need to to win this :)

Beautiful! You don't live very far each other! Welcome to Listia! Just like Bunny, most of us help or the Newbies as much as we can... We've all been there, and it's nice to know some of hints, instead of learning by mistakes or just taking a long time to learn anything. LOL. Don't be afraid to ask! We're more than happy to help if we can :-)
One of the best hints is to post good, clear pictures of your item. Also, not just stock photos, the real item you own. And give as much detail as you can, so people don't have to bombard you with questions... Width, length, sizing whether Juniors / Misses/ Women's/or maĆ·be Plus Size. Same with shoes , whether they are Toddlers/ KIDS/ or Adult sizes. Sometimes you can't tell right from looking at the pictures, and it saves people from having to ask too many questions. Also, some abbreviations ::
*GIN= Get It Now= you have set amount of credits u want for your item, they click It and it's sold right then.
*NWT= new with tags
*NWOT= new with out tags
*EUC= excellent used condition
*GUC= good used condition
Hope this helps some!! Enjoy!

Ignore my remarks about the stones..LOL.. I just reread it, Amethyst is right there!! Please forgive! This bracelet is worth paying shipping on. When you mail it, be sure to put tracking on it. It will cost about $2.70 because it is under 3 ounces. I would put this into a bubble mailer, NOT an envelope I had a gal I won a bracelet from, it went through the sorting machine and was ripped out of the envelope and lost.

I use paypal shipping. it is the cheapest way to send things and you can print the label at home :) If you are interested, or anyone else who wants to know about it, I will be happy to send you the instructions!

it can take some practice.. I learned by finding items similar to what I wanted to list and seeing how they did it. Best thing to do is offer free shipping :) it can be competitive, but fun once you know your way!

Those stones look like Amethysts. You do not have to use your name as a title. You can say something like: "Beautiful 10kt Gold and Amethyst Bracelet ~ 7.5" ~ previously loved"

That is just a suggestion.. if you KNOW what the stone is, you can state it. Do you recall what they said when they sold it to you? If not, then stick with purple stone :)

Hi Lisa. You can test it with a metal testing kit. They are sold on Amazon. Or if there is a 10k stamp that would be helpful to take a picture of. God bless!
