This is the original screenplay for the current movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from the Harry Potter universe. Note this is the screenplay, not the handbook about the beasts that came out in 2001, nor is it the Hogwarts Library version of the handbook, which won't be published until mid-march 2017. Also note the screenshots are from the Kindle version as Amazon hasn't provided sample interior shots for the paper version. This listing is for the hardback version not the Kindle.

Screenplays might be less enjoyable than a novel because the dialogue is interrupted with technical film terms and scenes may not be described as colorfully...There is a novelization which is coming out but I couldn't find the ETA.

Nevertheless this screenplay, which is written by Rowling herself, gets 4.5 out 5 stars and the reviews get an "A: rating from fakespot.com so they check out as legit.
