It's about a year old, it powers on just fine. I recently upgraded to the fitbit flex 2, I wash a lot of dishes at work so I wanted to get a waterproof one. :)

The dongle is the piece you connect to your computer to make it able to transmit the data from your fitbit to it. I never needed it because my computer is Bluetooth enabled and I connected wirelessly. The fit bit will work without it, yes, but if you don't have Bluetooth you will need it. I am currently searching for it.

I found a dongle, but I am not positive it is the correct one. It is a fitbit dongle, and it should work. The fitbit worked 100% when I stopped wearing it, no issues, I just upgraded to the waterproof one.

I did answer your questions. I said I found a dongle, but I don't remember if it goes to this particular fitbit as I have 2. It goes to a fitbit. I'm including it in the package. Original listing states there is NO dongle, so I am not being misleading. I also said that yes, it does work 100%. I had no issues with it's performance, did what it was supposed to do.

No sorry, I guess I thought it would be easy to confirm if the dongle worked or not as you have them both there together. I can only bid if it works with the fit bit as I don't have blue tooth on my computer. :)

I have Bluetooth on my computer, so I am not able to test it lol. I never know if it's connecting to the dongle or the computer. I will see if fitbit can answer the question for me.

That's your decision, and I respect that. I blocked her because she was being increadibly rude to me. I answered her questions 2 times and she was still being aggressive. I listed this without the dongle, so I should not be hounded for information on the dongle and made to feel stupid for not knowing the information.
