If you have a desktop or laptop and still are using spinning disk drives, you will be in for a happy surprise when you switch to an SSD. You machine will boot much faster and everything will also be much snappier including even surfing on the web (in my experience). This drive will pretty much work in most desktops, but Email me about your laptop, if that is where you want it, as some have special kinds of SSDs needed and a a very few, like some MacBook Airs, can't be upgraded at all.

250 GB, may not be a lot of space for a desktop, but most people use SSDs as boot drives and have second much larger HDD drives reserved for the photos, movies and music.

Anyway there are now even two major generations of SSD's faster (including the new Intel 3D XPoint which is coming in April) than this kind of SSD, but it is still night and day compared to the performance of a spinning disk/HDDs. Samsung makes the best SSDs (besides the proprietary 3D XPoints that Intel will be selling in late April) and they are sold for about a 20% premium from other brands but may be worth it for reliability.

Free US shipping. If you live overseas or in Canada or Mexico (and the rest of South America for that matter), contact me, I'm making no promises but I may be able to find a vendor within your country which will ship for free or low cost to you directly with the same price.
