Jaws was munching its' way to the top box office. Moe Howard (Moses Horowitz, real name) passes away and the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald shook America to its core on November 10, 1975. This tragedy became a mega hit song for Gordon Lightfoot.

The Red Sox led by Carl Yastrzemski and youthful Carlton Fisk upended the Oakland Athletics and the Cincinnati Reds meet in the World Series. Fred Lynn was the AL MVP and Rookie of the Year. Game Six featured Bernie Carbo's pinch hit 3 run homer and Fisk's wave.

George Brett, Robin Yount, Jim Rice, Gary Carter and Fred Lynn were rookies. The most expensive card in this lot is Steve Carlton $8.

The best rookie in this lot is SS Bucky "Bleeping" Dent. To Yankees fans of 1978, he is revered. To the Red Sox fans, he is loathed due to a 3 run home vs. Boston in a one game play off.
