made with carved real wood with actual bark showing and then resined to preserve the wood. has real turquoise chunks embedded into the Lucite on both the base of the holder and on each corner of the coasters. coasters are about 4 inch square cork in center and felt on bottom 4 coaster set. truly a beautiful set
