They said wooden so not sure if they can go thru the laundry.... humm I think Susan might know I will ask her. I have not washed anything yet that I sew the buttons on.

Hello Norma I see they recommend if you do wash do so by hand. That maybe not these but some are fragile and may break if put in a washing machine Like my cat ones! Very good question glad you asked as now will add to my description!! Thank you!!!! (¯`’•.¸*♫♪♥(✿◠‿◠)♥♫♪*¸.•’´¯)

What are they made I ? Ceramic, plastic, wood ? Can they go through the laundry?

Thank you. I know some of my ceramic ones are hand wash only. I use the clips on the back putting them through a tiny button hole that I sew on the jacket. Much like a tie tack. Thank you
