Samsung Galaxy Note 2
The Bad:
((Does not function correctly))!!!. The pictures show what it does. It boots as far as the T:mobile logo and thats where it stays. I have tried a hard reset and that does nothing.
This phone is being auctioned in as is condition.
I know it can be fixed I'm just not the person to do that.

The Good:
It charges and the battery is good.
It has minimal light wear from use. its a nice looking phone.
I'm guessing a new Rom will fix it I just don't know how.
it has a clean IMEI number and it is not blacklisted.

Free Shipping.
Please ask any questions you might have.

All listia rules apply to this auction.
I do not do returns on my auctions.
No buyer remorse.
I only ship to The Contiguous United States which does not include Alaska, Hawaii, or any other territories under the control of the United States.

Maybe ppl are too lazy to buy a new phone. If a screen is cracked it's better to just get a new phone. Anyhow, I wasn't being rude it's hard to tell emotions on a stupid phone, computer etc. But it's hard for some of us to raise that amount of credits. In 2013 u could get a phone on here for cheaper then that. Had things not changed on here it wouldn't be so hard for some us to make that amount. That's what I'm trying to get at. If that was lower I'd bid. That's what I'm trying to get at. Wasn't trying to be mean. I apologize if it sounded that way.

well your in luck check the new starting bid. its not just you or these open comments I'm getting a lot of flack in private messages also. so the starting bid is WAY lower I just hope it doesnt go for next to nothing.

No I completely agree with u on that. That's why I stopped lowering my bids because why should I have to lower it more then what it's worth? I mean some of my stuff was well worth over a million but because it just sits there an no one bids and some are just wall watchers, I had to lower just to get rid of it. It's not fair to anyone.

How big is the phone? I had a Max duo which is a pretty big phone, just curious if it's that big or a bit smaller?

Did you take it to T Mobile or call? I like the Galaxy phones. I had an older iPhone with a shattered screen that cost $60.00 to replace, a lot cheaper than buying a new phone at the time.

I watched some youtube stuff and I looked over the software like Kies and Oden but it was to confusing to me and I didnt want to mess up the phone any further. and i didnt try talking with Tmobile. in all honesty I bought the phone like this to sell it thinking i could fix it and make some more money off of it but i got psyched out over the confusing software people fix them with and so i got nowhere with that and here it is up for auction.

Who is the carrier or is it unlocked for any?
Nov 17th, 2017 at 1:00:31 AM PST by
Original
Tmobile seems to be the most obvious one and I have no idea if it is unlocked or not.

Just a question - when it boots to the T-Mobile screen, is that with a SIM card or SD card installed?
Nov 16th, 2017 at 11:54:34 PM PST by
Original
Without a SIM or an SD card installed. I never tried either in it.

Rut-roo Sounds to me like someone tried to unlock the phone and screwed up the programming, Which means it needs to be fully wiped and reprogrammed

I have no idea. I bought it this way.

Did you dl Kies or Oden and plugging the devivce into your pc? No concerns about the IMEI.
Nov 13th, 2017 at 3:11:38 PM PST by
Original
no I'm leaving that up to the winner.

I know it is very confusing and a lot of steps to go through to try and fix it yourself. My nephew found a new HTC but when I went to put my sim card in it came up as a bad IMEI as it was reported stolen/lost. It will cost about $50.00 to get a clean IMEI and make it usable.

I added some updates if you are concerned about the IMEI#

Why so high if it don't work correctly
Nov 11th, 2017 at 5:11:27 AM PST by

This is actually a good price to start this phone at if it were used even just for parts and a great starting price for a person who knows how to fix it. and i have been told by a few people on here in private messages that it an easy fix. but i know nothing about fixing software in phones hints the selling it and not fixing it for myself.
Nov 11th, 2017 at 3:08:19 PM PST by
Original
Even if it is fixable, which I don't think that "little glitch" is, no offense but I believe even for parts that amount of credits to start is way too high. Good luck!
Nov 12th, 2017 at 1:20:31 PM PST by
Original
I never galled it a "little glitch" it needs new software put on it as far as I know. and my starting bid is $36 how is that "way to high"? these sell for more on ebay with shattered screens and physically all messed up.
