this is a lenovo thinkpad T500 15.4" laptop. it has been giving me problems, so i am listing it as is. for parts only. the problem with this laptop is it will randomly shut off, then it may or may not boot right back up. some people told me to change the ram, and hard drive. i tried changing the hard drive and that didnt seem to work. as you can see it does start up, and runs when it wants to. it is in good physical condition. it doesnt really get hot, so i doubt thats the problem. i have used this computer for my business, and it has treated me well for years. it has a intel T9600 core 2 duo cpu @ 2.80 GHZ. blurtooth, web cam, card reader, cd/dvd writer, thumbprint scanner for security. battery lasts about 2 hours under normal use. and will come with the original windows vista business sticker for activation. this laptop will ship bare bones. no operating system, no hard drive, no ram, no charger. if you want the ram, hard drive or charger you have to bid up.

if bids go over
4mil. add 4 gigs of ram, OR 160G hard drive, OR charger
5mil. add another item
6mil. gets ram, hd, and charger

There’s not a whole ton of stuff to scrap if you take out the ram and hard drive besides a few things

battery or charger would be pretty simple fixes. processor, not so sure about?

about 30 screws removed and switch processors, not so bad lol i fix computers as a part time job, easy for me not so much for others.

My son's did the same thing, the fan was the issue with his. Cleaned the area got a new fan and always kept it on a hard surface. Good luck great computer

Older than that, if it has a Vista sticker on the bottom. 2010 would have been windows 7. 2010 would also have been the wide screen format and not the square screen. 2005 I'm guessing
