Beautiful, unique carved box for handkerchiefs! Inscribed inside! Very old and the inside cover shows some of its original feel. It can be cleaned and stained or left with its original patina. Flat nails used with hardware from the historic Allentown, PA. the historic area known for the earliest Amish, Mennonite and Quaker communities, which is what I think its origins are. Been doing some research and have seen similar styles labelled as Victorian. The design may actually been burnt (pyography) in!
Size around 6' x 6' x 1.8"

I will be FILLING it with some antique and vintage handkerchiefs, linen and lace - a great little surprise for you! I think its a fair price with FREE SHIPPING TOO!! but will consider fair offers! I want my collection of rare objects to find new homes :) Light wood and has some damage on the sides and wear that shows its age!
